Halfmoon Girl, Halfmoon Girl, Where Have You Been?

(my 3 regular commenters may be wondering)...

Been getting my baby fix:

Of course, my nephew is even cuter than the above baby...what will I do without a babe in the house now???

Been laughing with my SIL, thankful for another female in the house

Been learning to play rummy- i won the last piece of apple pie

Which brings me to the fact that I have been eating too much of this,

and this:
Frankly, if you haven't eaten a homemade Nanaimo bar, your life is hollow and empty, (let me know if you want the recipe),

been sucking on too many of these... How sad is it that I lingered lovingly over this pretty picture???

Been trying to find Christmas presents to send to my hubby's family when his brother and his wife fly home Tuesday...not going well...I am too unfocused, probably do the the fact I shop with 3 boys, and we have all been eating too much sugar.

Been tracking down African instruments to replace those that I borrowed...that the dog ate... Did I mention that I live in Canada, not Africa??? nuff said on that topic.

Been stocking my freezer with healthy, non medicated beef from my parent's cow...making a roast tomorrow, yum.

Been looking forward to a mom and son trip to a Toby Mac concert this weekend- wahoo! Now matter how many threats I make to my son about how Mama is gonna ROCK out, he remains unfazed. He told me he only gets embarassed when HE does something that makes him look like a goof. What ev. I will find a way.

Been reading through this book with the Skipper. It was given to us at our marriage conference. We finally finished the intro a few days ago, and have yet to get very far into ch 1. We read before we turn the lights out at night, so our sessions have been short. I will let you know how the book ends when we finish...in 2012.

Well, there is much more- a crystal growing experiment, more pet antics, fun time with family, not so stellar parenting moments, exciting hockey games, killer spin classes, great sermons, and more...but I will stop now- time to hit the hay and greet Monday in the morning!

Not much here to do since we can't get out because of the snow...so thought I would come and visit you. :)
