I highly recommend one of these conferences to refresh your relationship with God, your spouse, and your family. I am a note taker, and wrote down extra things of interest to me...like:
* "When God brings you to it, He wants to bring you through it"
* in talking about how Eve was made from Adam, the speaker mentioned how we can pray that, just like Adam, God would put our children to sleep socially until the right partner comes along.
* God is a better nagger than I
*"Today, I will not "SHOULD" on myself."
* "Pain is the great excuse for sin"
* "Housework is like threading beads on a string that has no knot on the end"
* "there is a far greater need for models than critics"
* "instead of being a "wounded wounder", be a "wounded healer"
* "to forgive is to set the prisoner free, only to find out that YOU were the prisoner"
* " treat everyone you meet as though they only have 24 hours to live."
On top of all these great reminders, it was a wonderfully snowy weekend in a beautiful mountain town. I.love.snow.
The view from our room:
If you ever need to find my husband, go to the nearest coffee shop/pot, and he will make an appearance at some point.
If you look close, you can see me camoflauged with the post.
ahh, sigh.. I love covered bridges, and snow, and my sweetheart, so as you can see, I was quite content.
