Billy Ray Cyrus - Somebody Said A Prayer - Official Video

Ok, put aside Hannah Montana and her dad, and listen to this song. God is so impressing on my heart that prayer is the answer. Sometimes I have to pray for the desire to pray, but when I do, when I really do pray and read through His Word, I cannot help but be impressed and comforted. The problems that I may face and that I see my loved ones struggling with don't necessarily go away, but I realize more fully that we are not alone, that there is hope, that there is comfort to be found in at our Heavenly Father's feet. Tonight I drove to prayer meeting crying to worship songs, yet came home praising. This song came on the radio-I thought it was Neil Diamond, to be honest, but that is beside the point. The little boy in the video made me cry...

Prayer changes thing, prayer changes hearts, prayer changes perspectives. Prayer is powerful.

Psalm 42:9-11. The Message
Sometimes I ask God, my rock-solid God, Why did you let me down? Why am I walking around in tears, harassed by enemies?" they're out for the kill, these tormentors with their obscenities, Taunting day after day,"Where is this God of yours?" Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I'll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He's my God

You keep praying girl...and keep encouraging others to do the same.
God has been working on me in this area too....it is time to use the weapons we have been given even if we can not see the damage it is doing right away.
It is powerful and effective at pulling down strongholds of our enemy. It works!

that passage is beautiful jane. and i watched that video amazed at the gift we are given to find such incredible comfort in a small act of just praying. for me it truly is just laying it all out there and finding that it's worth it as God shows me his love even if i don't get the answers i "want".
