One Of the Coolest Things In My Life.

You don't really grow up dreaming of getting married, having 2 kids, getting divorced, and remarrying again, and having 2 more kids. Many of you know my story and how thankful I am for the life I now have with The Skipper and kids. I want to show you something really cool God has done to help knit our family together. Look at how my first child, our daughter A. looks like our 3rd child, J. Two different dads. You can't tell these two apart in some baby pics.

Now look at how our son K, my 2nd child from my first marriage, looks like our youngest. Pretty cool eh? I love it.

None of the kids is the image of me, but somehow God planned it so that the first and 3rd and then the 2nd and 4th look a lot alike. It is funny because J (#3) is the spitting image of The Skipper, but also looks like his sister(#1), who also has the same coloring as The Skip, even though they are not related. Are you following me here? K (#2) is VERY similar to his bio dad, my first husband, but looks like a bigger version of his littlest brother (#4) all at the same time! Obviously, my genes are in there somewhere, but I like to think that my Heavenly Father wrked it all out help blend our family all together.

Thanks God.

ps- Yes, I know these posts would be a lot easier to follow if I had some alternate internet names for my kids. I need to come up with something. It is hard to describe them in just one word!

I think that is pretty cool.
It reminded me of how couples that have been married for years sometimes start looking like each other.
With God in the middle....He really does make us all one.
Hope you are having a great day.
Thanks for all the support lately...I think I am doing much better.

Amazing. Isn't that so like our God? :)

I think you need to come up with some really awful names for your kids. My kids would be Bromley, Harold and Mavis. Yours should be Agatha, Kenward, Jethro and Malvern. No one would actually believe those were your kids names but it would be fun- if you could keep them straight!!

Actually, I didn't have too much trouble following it. And I just laughed at CoffeeMom's comment.

If I did that I'd need to tape a guide on my computer monitor to keep the kids' names straight. :-)

It's a great tribute to God. I enjoyed it.

Nope. I totally followed you and I think it's cool!!

So sweet that He worked it out like that. :)

My sister and I favor quite a bit and we only have the same Dad (and don't even try to tell our voices apart...we sound EXACTLY alike).
