Just Checking...

Sometimes, when you are in public, do your children act like they were born in a barn, raised by wild chimps in the bush, and had never been taught social skills????? And the people who raise their eyebrows while they are witnessing such behaviour- why do I never see them during the 80 % of time that my children are behaving and being their funny little sweet selves?

Oh, what Emily said made me laugh!!
I was looking at t-shirts on-line today and found one that said "Homeschooling and Wild" -- which is what I need....because I totally agree with you...

I wish kids had meters on them that gave indications of what they'd do in the stores. Alas...

That's the kids job...to keep us humble.

Maybe they just need to wear t-shirt that says, My Mommy Did Not Raise Me This To Act This Way.;)

UGH! I don't know, but I can sure relate. It always seems that the person with the "perfectly behaved" children come around when my kids are acting like pure heathens.

I agree with big red driver...it does keep us humble (ever notice that humble and humilitated aren't that far apart?!)

i knew a mom who was trying to grocery shop with her wild girls misbehaving. when she noticed the stares and unpleasant looks she said (loud enough to be heard)...wait til i tell your mother about how you've been acting!

ahh parenting. gotta love it!

I was one of those eyebrow-raising people before I had children. Oh, how I have been humbled!
