I Can't Think Of a Catchy Title Right Now, But Come Read This Anyways.

I'm back. The last time I said hello to you blogging buddies, I was just turning 35. Considering the fact that I should now be mature, I have had an interesting week- I went away with my soccer team and we captured first place at the tournament, despite getting the wrong schedule and unknowingly forfeiting a game that we didn't know about. I got annoyed with my check as she kept shoving me, I had a confrontation with a family member- that hasn't occurred for about 15 years- and cried in the back of a mini van. Yesterday, I cried after getting off the phone with my ex as he wasn't complying with bringing my kids home (they were supposed to be home on the 30th of July). Today, I ate homemade apple pie for breakfast and lunch. When does the maturity kick in???? Maybe at 36?

Just so you don't all storm my ex's- my knight in shining armour (aka The Skipper) very calmly announced that he would drive the 10 hours to get them. As it turns out, the ex is willing to meet him part way. They will be home on Monday!

As far as maturity kicking in, don't get your hopes up. I'm a decade ahead of you and it hasn't happened for me yet.

I know you'll be excited to see your kids!

Don't be discouraged girl......a part of us will never grow up. That innocent part that continues to hope that people will do what they say and act the way they should.
Thank God for your man who is willing to stand up for what is right. He sounds like a gift from God.
Congrats on the game.
And if I were there I would give you a great big hug.
It will all be alright. Sounds like He is teaching you some things in the hard times.
Love ya girl

-- 35 has turned out to be a breeze, as long as I don't think about the NUMBER.

-- I think when maturity kicks in - we're dead.

-- I'd have eaten the apple pie too...and have done so...

-- Loved what Emily wrote.

--- Kudos to Skipper the Shining Knight. :-)
