"Why?"
"'Cause I just felt two "milkers" there."

We had the privilege of watching a friend's baby tonight for a couple of hours.
"Mom, what is the baby saying? What does the baby want? What is he saying?" (over and over)
I answered with a variety of things like "he wants you to play with him, he is hungry, he is saying hi, etc, until I couldn't think of any more suggestions, so I just started answering with "gee, I don't know, or Hmmm, I'm not sure."
This was met with a puzzled gaze and finally he blurted "But I thought moms knew how to speak Baby!"

While watching a parade in the next town today, Mr J was pretty serious about gathering as much loot as possible from the floats as they went by. As a big truck with nutrition drink posters plastered on the side went by, he called out to his dad that this was a beer truck and that he would get him one!
"It's ok, but thanks anyways for that, sweetie."
Hope you are all having a good weekend.

Hey I don't remember a beer truck in the parade. I do remember the vitamin water truck though but didn't chase him down for a drink.
Great parade today, we had a good time.
Kathleen- yup, that was the one he tried to chase down for a "beer".
I am currently learning to speak teen boy. Wish I could take a course in the local college.
ugh. I wasn't even all the fluent when I was a teen myself.
That is funny.
I agree with "his girl" comment. Learning baby talk was WAY easier than teen talk.
Oh, that's too good.
Funny stuff they say...
*Whispers* I thought mom's could speak baby, too, until I had them. ***
*LOL*
