I've been meaning to post this for those of you who wonder about The Skipper's job. He hasn't fished black cod for a few years, which is nice as it is long trips away, way out in the water. Right now he fishes prawns, and is home every night. It is safer in some ways, but just a few days ago he was in 12 foot swells. I prefer to just pray and not overthink it. I am praying that he gets lots of building work this summer/fall, or he may be looking for a job on the boat in this video.

ugg. i had flashes of "deadliest catch" all over again watching that video. you are right...PRAY instead of thinking too much. just like with our kiddos i suppose.
