I don't know if it is because we are having such a rash of tragedies around the world and in lives closer to home, but for the first time that I can remember, I am experiencing a deep sense of foreboding, like the other shoe is going to drop. I can live and entertain these scary thoughts or I can go to the Truth, which tells me not to worry about tomorrow, and to cast my cares on Him. I found myself singing this song today and praying it for all those of you who are hurting today.

what a gift to your readers! i have felt so blah lately in my blogging. especially with the heaviness on my heart and everything around me. so i was blessed to sit for a moment and listen to this song i love so much. thank you!
sometimes when we are at a loss for words...worship like this is truly what we need to praise the gracious God who loves us so much and we understand so little at times it seems.
all that said...thank you sweet bloggin' friend. your efforts here always seem to touch my little world! i'm so glad i found you! ;o)
mmmm. that was a warm cup o' tea for my heart on this dreary day. thanks, sis...
We have had some real tragedies in our area lately too.
I am glad that our hope does not have to be in this world..it can be very discouraging.
Sometimes it is hard to understand what is going on around us....and God understands....so He sends us peace. And the hope that soon all things will be well....for eternity.
Love ya girl
I've also been feeling like that a bit. I think for me it's the gas prices and knowing that we'll be strapped for money soon.
But yes, God is still in control. I need to REMEMBER that!!!
I'm with you on the sense of foreboding. I can hardly sleep at night. I NEED that peace like a river. I need to get off the blogs now and go read the WORD so I can sleep tonight. :-)
