This is a video of a talk given by Sir Ken Robinson. I had never heard of him till my SIL just sent this too me. The clip is about 15 minutes long, but I HIGHLY recommend it! (note- He takes God's name in vain once, which I thought I would mention before you choose to view it).

Wow, he said so many of the things I believe, only so much more eloquently!
I have him on my blog from a LOOONNGG time ago too. He. Is. Amazing!!!!!
So for those of you that haven't watched it yet and are just checking out the comments to see what others thought. Stop it. Go watch and have an opinion all your own.
*wink*
I have often wondered if all the children being labeled with ADHD-just needed to be handled in a different way.Our son was told he had ADHD--he was very smart and intelligent. He made A's until he got to 7 grade. Then it just fell apart.Somewhere he began to not care. It was like if he could not be who he was then he would just stop being.
Julia does not have the same problem.
I pray that things are different for her.
Michael is a lot like his Dad. They are both very good with their hands. They can fix anything they put their hands to. And if something won't work just right--they will find a way to make it work. They need to be moving. Have an environment that changes.
I would be nice for our children to be seen for who they are and not who someone thinks they should be.
Thanks for posting this.
