Things To Do On the Last Day of the Year

It is quiet around our house today. The oldest two are visiting with their father, so they are away till Friday. While the rest of us are waiting for our New Year's celebration tonight, which will consist of finger foods, music, friends and family, and a few of these games, we are just hangin' out:

Reading with the dog by the fire,

playing games with Daddy:

sucking up spit

I am involved in my own juvenile behaviour while I steal chocolate out of hubby's cubby (look at my big freckled mitt!):

BTW, any real life friends reading this better not tell him!

I am washing it down with unsweetened cranberry juice. That has gotten help clear the sugar out of the system a bit??

What are you doing on the last day of 2007?

Worked today in what was like a ghost town of an office, came home and enjoyed a nice last meal of the year with the family a little while ago, now we are waiting for some family and friends to arrive so we can do the same as you finger foods, some games and such - no sucking up spit though. But "stealing" chocolate from hubby - absolutely.
Happy New Year.

We made a necessary trip to Wal Mart to replace a tire on the car and bought some goodies while we were there. Boy was it crowded! Did a little shopping with my girls. I have to go pick up Gabe from work and then we'll have a quiet family night with pizza, movies and snacks. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

The "should have" list includes packing up Christmas until next year, cutting up our ice storm debris, and laundry.

Instead we watched too much tv, at snack foods for lunch and are going to a friend's house for dinner MINUS the girls! (Thanks Mom!)

Happy New Year :)

Well it is 9:00 in the evening and my hubby is in the woods(staying at the camper)so I am at home alone with Julia and Paw Paw. Tomorrow is Keith's birthday so he gets to do what he wants to do. And he wants to hunt.
So i am catching up on blog reading and I am getting ready to go and get some ice cream to eat.
Have a great new year celebration!

I spent my day waiting to see if someone, anyone would notice the chicken nugget on a table in our den. Just where a dried up and crustified nugget should be right? And then I blogged about it. With pictures. And a nugget of truth to go along with the nugget of poultry pieces and parts. Very exciting.

I'm still in my robe and it's 1pm. Great start to the new year, huh?

Loved that you steal your hubbies chocolate. You really are my kinda girl!
