I am feeling a bit stir crazy these days, or maybe just plum crazy with the lack of routine and holiday celebrations. My brother has been staying with us while he recovers from surgery, so Miss A and I are being choked out by all the testosterone in the house. I have watched more boxing, hockey, John Wayne and James Bond in the last month than I have all year. I think that they have really appreciated some of my insightful comments while we have been viewing the shoot 'em ups. "Don't you think that she looks better with less make up?" (seriously, watch Casino Royale and tell me if the English chick doesn't look better in the scene where she is just starting to apply her make up). "Now maybe he has an inkling of what child birth feels like" (this while watching the torture scene in Casino Royale. Anyways, I do my part to bring some estrogen into the room. They did inform me that the laundry folding was taking away from the ambiance. They just got a smirk from my flannel clad self, while I continued making my way through the pile. I think I will have to retaliate with a Pride and Prejudice marathon soon. Mr Darcy is a man's man, isn't he?

Oh just the thought of all that MAN TV makes me have a headache. Blech.
I seriously hate it when we have a bunch of men here and all they watch is football or shoot-em-ups. Bless your heart! Wish you could come over for some tea and "girl time".

They should have known not to mess with you.
And I agree...the english chick looks much better before all the makeup.

Call me!! I will come over for the chick flick fest!

I saw your brother and baby J today. I thought J was going to have a ton of black hair, I was so surprised to see how blonde he is. Very cute little guy!

Oh my, I'm understanding. One of my Christmas gifts to my husband was a HUGE John Wayne mug big enough for several cups of coffee. Yes, I have an ol' Western lover on my hands. My best defense is to learn to like them as well, lol!
