This morning we changed our minds when he insisted that Santa does not really get you what you want anyways. When I queried why he said that, he answered that last year he asked for this:

We didn't buy it for him, but bought him a cheaper doll instead. He was not fooled. I guess he had watched a commercial that showed it talking and peeing. The baby we bought him did none of those things. We don't have a hang up about him loving babies- we think it is good practice for being a father, and I think it is a compliment to my hubby's involvement in caring for our own children as babies. Last Christmas we didn't really want to buy that for his bigger gift. (we usually get a more expensive one and then a few other less pricey ones. I guess it will save money- it will cost less than a bike. We were just trying to be a little thrifty as he has outgrown the bicycle he has now, and we figured that we would have to get one at some point anyways.
This pic shows him posing with last year's doll, which he named Memur. He also got one from my parents, which he named Joy to the World. I think he will be over the moon to discover Santa actually bought him Baby Alive this year- I hope that it comes with lots of diapers cause I know that the bathroom functions will be his favorite part. That is where this posts title comes in- I hate it when people use incorrect words for pee and poo, so I am sure that hearing that over and over will drive me nuts! I just hope being called "Mama!" over and over won't mess him up!

I think that is great that you let him play with dolls.
One of my sister boys used to like to play with Julia's Barbies and his dad would have a fit.
I hope he enjoys his pooping doll. :)
Maybe changing his kids diapers will bring back good memories of his childhood.
