I saw this over at Fee's and thought it looked like fun.
10 Things I liked as a teenager that I really don’t care for now:
1. corvettes
2. wearing two pairs of socks bunched around my ankles
3. Scott Baio (is that how you spell it?)
4. rebel boys
5. light blue duck themed kitchens (don't hate me if you have one!)
6. big bangs, big hair
7. nylons
8. red lipstick
9. wearing matching hockey jerseys while watching my boyfriend play hockey- He played for 3 different teams, and I had one for each. Picture this with the big hair, red lipstick and nylons. (I am cringing)
10. Richard Marx's ballad- Wherever You Go- that song used to MOVE me- now it makes me want to lose my dinner.

1. Avocados, mushrooms, and green peppers
2. sensible men
3. myself
4. playing soccer
5. going to the mall without dressing up first
6. cloggy shoes
7. my teenage abs ( miss you!)
8. tidy bedroom
9. flat bangs
10. going to bed
10 things that I didn't like as a teen and still don’t like:
1. angry, reactive people
2. wearing hot pink (clashes with my hair and freckles)
3. oysters
4. prissy females

6. the radio and tv being on at the same time
7. cleaning the shower
8. math, chemisty, physics
9. cheaters
10. chicken poo (ok, so it's a random list...)
10 things I liked as a teen and still do:
1. Anne of Green Gables
2. Bon Jovi
3. getting tucked into bed (used to be my mom, now occasionally when I can't stay up, I ask my hubby to do it. He doesn't take song requests like my mom did though.)
4. music
5. reading
6. popcorn
7. baths ( and now I don't have to share bath water with my brothers and sister! Let me just clarify that- we shared bath water, not bathed together. Just didn't want you to wonder about us Canadians!)
8. the beach
9. stormy weather
10. Christmas stockings

Some styles should have been outlawed before they even started.
Big hair may still be popular if you live in Texas.
With you on the duck wallpaper.
And the stockings.
I miss my young body too.
Jane, I LOVED this! Loved the glimpse of YOU it gave me. :)
Wow, what a list of lists! Nice job! That takes some effort, at least it would for me...
Laughing at the hockey jerseys. I spent my teenage years in Michigan which is big hockey land. :-) I even spent plenty of time at hockey games in Canada, since most of the really good players at my high school also played for a Canadian team (I lived in a border town).
