Soon we will be piling into our new-to-us 5th wheel and heading to another beautiful area of BC, to camp and play soccer. My hubby will be manning the campsite with the two littles, while I huff and sweat around a soccer field for the weekend. It is usually 35 degrees at this time of year there- dry heat that I am not used to, so this will be something! I was going to be in prime shape for this, but I am still packing my 15 extra pounds, and have my eye allergy/infection back. Instead of being the sleek, speedy red head, I will be the sweaty, wild haired, red faced, panting, four eyed creature sputtering around the pitch. Actually, I am looking forward to it- our team is going up with the attitude of having fun, so we should get a few laughs and some exercise to boot. My oldest two will be dropped off by my ex to join us- it will be so nice to all be together again!
I am off to soccer practice and then to the store to stock up on camping dishes and marshmallows! Ta ta!

Have a safe and fun trip! My four are nearly 6, 4, 2, and 4 mo. so we haven't gotten to the camping stage of life yet. I long for a little more flexibility to leave home. Enjoy your fun family time!
I so miss camping.
We did this all the time when I was growing up.
Since we have been married we have not gotten to do this often enough.
Now we have a camper and we don't really have time.
But I love camping with a tent.
Cooking over the camp stove and not worrying about what I looked like.
So go ahead--be a wild woman. Enjoy!
Have a great time! I can't even fathom 35 degrees at this time of year! Oh well, heat helps to burn the fluff better...LOL!
Have a fantastic time! The heat wave seems to be stretching clear across the country. For the past week the temps have been in the 40's and 50's, with the humidex!!
Have a great time!
And please, for the sake of others, don't be the Maniacal Double Tow-er I posted about the other day!
:o)
