Tomorrow (almost today actually as I am writing this at 11:51 pm), I get to go out for breakfast with my girlfriends! I LOVE going out to breakfast!!! I already know what I am having- 2 poached eggs, sausage, brown toast (I don't usually eat this, but it comes with the meal), chunky hash browns and tea with milk and honey! Kathleen will be making the LONG trip up- not very often that I can convince her to drive the 1/2 hour...
My husband planned and made reservations at a really nice new restaurant in town for last night. My visiting buddy dressed me up for my dinner date with my sweetie and we had a lovely time. We were there for 2 1/2 hours- had appy's, main course, dessert and then tea/coffee. What a dining experience! Really artistic, melt in your mouth food. My hubby kept telling me that I didn't look relaxed until I finally gave up on the sophisticated dignity I was trying to conjure up for the fancy surroundings and blurted, "LOOK, I AM TRYING TO SUCK IN MY STOMACH AND SIT UP STRAIGHT SO I LOOK GOOD IN THIS DRESS, OK?!?!?" He smirked and didn't mention it again...
So think of me sipping tea ( Kathleen will be having coffee of course!) if you are reading this Monday morning. Wish all you blogging buddies could join us... What would you order for breakfast?

I'd like eggs benedict without the meat and some wheat toast, please. Maybe a cafe mocha if we are lingering.

Happy Birthday my friend! I love that you already knew what you were going to have for breakfast the night before! Way to plan ahead. I'm the type that looks at the menu for 45 minutes or until everyone gets angry then I end up with coffee and toast.
