Works for Me Wednesday

I love the way kids express themselves through art. They have not yet been told that it isn't good enough, or that they are not talented, and lost their confidence, like a lot of us adults did somewhere along the way. We moved into our big house a few years ago and needed some art work, so I went to the dollar store and bought some canvases. Here is the result. I would like to do it again now that they are older. This is not a new idea, but it is a fun one! For more Works for Me Wednesday, go here.

What a great idea! And displaying it around your house must build such confidence.

THAT is a great idea! I bet the kids feel so honored having their artwork up on the walls.

That really is a wonderful idea! Honestly it looks like something you would pay $10K for at an art gallery from a professional abstract artist...LOL!

does anyone know the last Gayle who left a comment? I would like to go visit, but her page doesn't show up.

this is a fantastic idea. we have one wall in our hallway that we call the gallery. i wondered what to do with all the artwork the kids create.. so i found tons of old frames and put their creations inside them and they are hung all along the hallway.. we change the artwork periodically..
they really love showing off their stuff..
