It Could Only Happen to Me!
Well, my kids and I traveled about 6 hours away for a wedding on Saturday. We had a great time and the kids were awesome traveling. We were supposed to come home on Sunday, but I woke up with an eye infection in both eyes and could not see to drive. So, now it is Monday evening and I am camped out at my friend's until I am able to put my contacts back in and drive home. Good grief. Yesterday I was like a vampire, cringing when I entered the light. Today I just look weird but am not in that much pain anymore. Quirky things like this seem to happen to me a lot. I have missed my blogging friends and thought I would hop on my friend's computer quickly and say hi. "HI!"

I am so sorry to hear that. I am a contact lens wearer and have never had an infection - but I hear they are wicked!

I hope your eyes are getting better.
I had a corneal ulcer about two months ago--it was horrible. For two days I was in extreme pain and could not stand the light.
They said it was because I was not taking my contacts out often enough.
Hope you get home soon!
