I got to sleep in a bit today. NICE! After church we and some friends took our kids to the park, I did some gardening, and then made a gourmet dinner of BBQ'd hot dogs. Hey- I cut up onions and grated cheese as extra toppings, and even cut up cucumber so I could go to bed 'happy cause my kids had their greens.

Should be an interesting day tomorrow. A group of us are taking our kids to Science World in the Big City. It will be a lot of fun learning going on. I meant to vacuum out my van so no kids would go home and tell their parents how messy it is. Whatever. Here's the part that will be interesting... My ex husband (oh, there is so much more to learn about me, isn't there?!? Nothing too exciting, just young, stupid and very dumped!) is meeting us there to take my two older children (from first marriage) for a few days. He lives about 4 hours away and happens to be visiting the City then too. I thought he was just meeting us there AFTER, but he plans to spend the day with us at Science World. Oh well, it is not a hostile situation or anything, just a bit awkward sometimes. I had better make sure I get up extra early for quiet time with God before leaving for the ferry! I am just SO thankful for the man I have been married to for the last 5 1/2 years.
