This is my youngest (21 mos) "shooting" the dog with a snorkel. ANYTHING can be turned into a gun by my imaginative boys. I give up! Yesterday it was a his sister's hair beader do-hickey that he was shooting us with, tonight it was a mast off of his big brother's pirate ship. When I took that away, it was his finger-complete with sound effects of course. All three of my boys are like this- last week what was one minute an enthusiastic game of yard hockey between my 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 5 year old neighbour, turned into a war with hockey sticks as rifles! We have always been very careful with what they watch, but this whole weapon thing is part of their genetic make up! Can anyone else relate to this phenomenon?

Really? My boys don't do that. Mine are perfect children who are well behaved at all times. You must be doing something wrong.
