This first one is of the painting that our daughter was bursting to give me. It blows me away that I produced kids that can be so talented- well, I guess God gets the high five for that, anyways. She totally captured me- minus the freckles :) She said she was going more for the feeling, less for the detail. I love it.

The monkey hat makes me smile- plus, I caught him in a "Cliff Claven" moment- that boy can rattle off more info than a talking computer.
Before you live in fear of my kids trashing your house if we ever came to visit, he is not actually in flight in this pic- just posing somehow with his skate board tilted:
It makes it easier to get up in the morning when I can blindly grope for my froggy green housecoat to wrap up in. Thanks Skipper :)
This made my mama's heart smile in satisfaction to have all my babies under the same roof, existing in love and harmony (for a time anyways). Actually, with their sister living away now, when she comes home it is touching how much they like to spend time together.
My baby...who is 5 but going to be taller than his 7 yr old brother soon. It's just going too fast!

awwwwwwwwwwwww.... these made me smile, too.
don't know if I was tearier at the painting or at the pic of the whole lot reading stories together...
God is good.
Loved the painting...how sweet that she wanted to create something with her own hands that would be a visual reminder of the love you share. :) Sweet!
And I can see why all of these picture memories made you smile.
What a great painting! She did an excellent job!!
Awww I'm glad you had all the kiddos together for Christmas, that must have been a treat for you all.
Saw the skipper at hockey on Saturday. WHY WEREN'T YOU THERE????? Just kidding, miss you :-)
We've had a few skateboard incidents in the house - not just posed!
