I Enjoy Random.

I saw this at Gayle's and she made me laugh so much that I thought I would play along too. It has been a long time since I have done a meme.

1. How do you feel about "Gladiator" sandals, also called "Roman" or "Jesus" sandals? A fashion yea or nay?
A fashion yea for the long legged...which I am not...so I don't have any. I like them on others sometimes... I think you have to get the whole look right to pull it off- like wearing a Roman head dress and armour as well- just kidding.

2. What is your favorite pizza?
That's easy. Garlic lovers- veggies, perhaps some gr beef, and lots of GARLIC. MMMMMmmmm.

3. There are plans in the works to sell roughly 1,000 items from Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas. This means you could buy Picard's chair for your family room. If not a Star Trek item, what prop, background, set, etc. from what TV or movie would you buy if you could?
[Ex: Hurley's "I Love my Shih tzu" shirt from LOST, the plantation home "Tara" from Gone With the Wind, or Tracy's tambourine from the Partridge Family.]
Mr Dressup's tickle trunk- that was my favourite part of his show. Oh, you Americans even know who Mr. Dressup is? In my opinion, he was way better, (and less creepy) than Mr Rogers.

4. Name a local food or restaurant that your area is famous for.

The good restaurants in my area are independent, so you wouldn't know them. They focus on local, organic produce, local catch out of the ocean, etc. Canada is famous for Tim Hortons though!

5. What is your current favorite snack?

Yesterday it was Jalapeno Poppers. Usually, I have some almonds on hand to munch on.

6. Hypothetical: You are required to be a reality show contestant. Which show would you choose based on your probability of success? (You cannot choose "none.")

A. Dancing with the Stars
B. Biggest Loser
C. Survivor

All of those choices make my blood run cold. I would probably choose Survivor just so I could take down the skinny girls in their bitsy bikinis. I would represent all the mamas of the world who are strong and healthy even though we aren't stick thin and yes, gasp...have cellulite. I guess that would still apply to Dancing With the Stars, but this white girl can NOT dance. I would have much better luck crawling through the mud in an obstacle course on an isolated island somewhere.

7. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being uninhabitable and 10 being cleanliness that meets the standards of OCD, how clean is your vehicle's interior?

Usually, it is below 5. I feel like I carry enough sand around to make my own beach, and it usually smells like rotten apple cores. Right at the moment, I have the cleanest vehicle I have ever had as it is new. Just give me time, though.

8. It doesn't feel like Spring until _________.

The prawn gear is stacked in the yard, waiting for opening day, and I am behind in my planting, ...again.

9. Something that made you laugh really hard recently is ____.

My 4 year old son telling all the Sunday School that his dog ate a rabbit. You probably had to be there, but it was Easter Sunday, and the little girls in their pretty Easter dresses had just been sharing how the Easter bunny was going to hop around their yards that afternoon to hide eggs...and then my son's hand shot up to eagerly share his exciting, gruesome information. I had to go into the other room as I had a full-on belly laugh going.

10. Tell me about a goal you're working toward.

De cluttering my storage room. I know...boring. That's why it is still cluttered.

11. Share a thought-provoking or inspiring quote this week. This is my focus lately- for myself and others:

12. Name one thing that you do as a parent that you absolutely know will make your kids happy. If you're not a parent, feel free to substitute "friend" or nomenclature that works for you.

Well, that's easy: Ice cream.
