Again, I am Getting Nothing For A Title, so This is It.

A few days ago, I was on the computer and heard the sound of the vacuum, followed by the piano. I stopped what I was doing to shoot off the following email to my 10 year old son:

Hello Son,

You are downstairs practicing your piano and doing your chores without being asked- that is a fabulous thing. You are a great son with great character and I love being your mom all the time.

Yours truly with sprinkles on top,

Mother

I got an email in return today:

"Blech!"

I guess I was too mushy, but I know he secretly loves it, so I don't plan to stop doing it. Besides, I live to embarass my kids. :)

Good for you!
One day he will look back on that with appreciation...and any woman coming into his life will have high standards to live up to.
Hmmmmmm, what are you doing right?
I have a 12 year old that always has to be reminded.

I agree with Growin' with it!
Gotta be code for "I love you back!"
