Update Me!

We made it! We were blessed enough to make our 6000 mile road trip without losing anyone, or harming each other, though I did contemplate jumping out of the truck at a stoplight twice. We had great times with family and friends, and saw so much beautiful scenery! Pictures are coming soon.

Now we are in the midst of unpacking, doing laundry, sorting, cleaning, settling in, and visiting with everyone we missed while we were away. And that includes you, my friends. I don't know that I can catch up on your lives by reading all the posts I have missed, but I do want you know how your summer has been so far. So please take a minute to leave a comment and tell me how you and yours are doing...i would love to catch up!

I will gladly leave a comment and tell you... I'M PREGNANT!! :D:D:D So summer is AMAZING here :) Especially when morning sickness isn't knocking at my door, which it tries to do all day every day, but hopefully with the 2nd trimester (in 2 weeks!) it will go away. (more details in a recent blog post...)

Wow, 6000 miles? I thought our 4300 was long. But we drove, then vacationed, then drove back. I'm sure if we'd driven it in smaller spurts it wouldn't have seemed so long. Welcome home, and happy laundering!

We're also just getting back from our CO trip and doing the unpacking, sorting, laundry thing...and getting ready for school...UGH.

I want to take my crew and go back on vacation! :)

Glad you made it home safely!

You're home!

I can't wait to hear the stories and see the pictures.

Backup your pictures...now! I lost mine from our roadtrip from BC to Mexico when we got home. I'm still a little tearful when I think about it.

So glad you are home! And I am glad ya'll had a great time....can't wait to hear about it.
Summer here has been busy. We had our conference here....all went well. We have been busy helping the ministry on the mountain. Still waiting to hear what God is telling us to do. They have offered us two acres on the mountain...not sure what we will do. Till God fills us in...just waiting. Laid tile with Keith in two rooms...had a sore patoot and two sore knees...but I can now lay tile!
Oh....working on getting a book I wrote for my nephew illustrated and then maybe published? Yes, that was a surprise. One of the women in the mountain ministry does illustrations for children's books...and now she is illustrating mine. :)
Well..that is enough for now...see ya when ya finish unpacking suitcases and doing laundry.
Glad to have you back girl!

We had an AMAZING summer. So much fun, and very special. Our mission trip to Mexico was a highlight, of course. A week of camp where Scott was dean, and of course Canada. Yes, Toronto was no good for us. City workers' strike meant no ferries, which was our one plan for the day after we found out how much it cost to go up in the CN tower. And there was this HIDEOUS smell the entire time. We couldn't get it out of our car. I don't think it was the trash issue, b/c it was everywhere, but I guess it could have been. It smelled just like the raw sewage we were working by in Mexico. Yucko. But the rest of our Canadian adventure was fabulous. :) Now I want to get to YOUR end.

So glad you had a great trip! We just got back from a trip back east to see my sister. We met my other sister and her family there too and took all the kids on a houseboat vacation over the weekend! It was a blast!

6000 miles! I think I would have lost my mind. Looks like you all had fun.

My summer has been slipping by so fast I'm not sure what all we've done. Gabriel had his wisdom teeth out two days ago and he's recovering from that. Holly wanted some time to lie on the couch and watch movies too so she twisted her ankle. It's swollen and bruised. Hopefully they'll both recover soon.

Glad you're back home!

Hi!

I'm Anne Stephanie Cruz, one of your blog followers. I work for www.ownadaycare.com, it's a site dedicated to giving useful information and advice to people who are passionate about having their own daycare business - but don't know where or how to start.

Anyhow, I sent you this email to ask if you would consider having me write a guest post on your blog. It can just be a short article about child care, parenting and daycare, setting up a daycare center - or really anything that you might find interesting.

Please let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

Sincerely Yours,

Anne Stephanie Cruz
