Maybe I Should Call Him Ranger instead of Skipper.

We have a lot of home decorating to do still. We have piles of pics that need to go on the walls, but don't have frames, need to have glass replaced, etc, etc. The Skipper and I have a hard time agreeing on where things should go, so often, things just don't go anywhere. We had company last week, so there was the usual flurry of trying to get some projects done first. I hadn't rehung pictures from our flood fiasco, so set out to do that last week as well. I originally had 4 pictures placed in a symetrical pattern here- I know, not very artistic, but that is the limit of my skills in that area. I don't necessarily like that look best, but I don't know how to do things any other way unless someone tells me what to do. The Skip came along with a suggestion, which I would have dismissed earlier in our relationship, but I have GROWN in humility since my decorater friend walked through our house last year and loved all his ideas that I previously poo pooed. humph. I looked at him and said, "I don't know how to do something more creative, but if you do, go for it. I have learned to trust that you have an eye for such things." Aren't you proud of how humble I was? (I was actually sincere, which I don't sound here.) He proved me right, and came up with this arrangement. The stars were my addition, thank you very much. Something struck me about this arrangement (other than it is too high on the wall, but he is 6"2, and I am 5"5.) It took me a couple of days, but finally I blurted out "I think you put Texas on our wall!" What do you think?

You make me laugh. :)
I'm so impressed you would recognize TX on your wall, you being one of them Canadians and all.
