I was going to show you my funky new hair- but when I went to take a pic, I noticed that the memory card was missing. It is the size of a finger nail. I stopped looking for it when I started to rant and shift madly through the rubble...
I was going to share the words of a song we sang in worship yesterday, but I forget the song... I guess the important part is that I worshipped...
I was going to score amazing goals yesterday, in our first soccer game back since Dec, but I didn't... partly because I was sucking wind as we had no subs= 1 1/2 of running, and partly because sometimes the flow just doesn't happen.
I was going to work-out this morning, but when I woke up, I wondered if a Mac truck had run over me in the night... then I remembered that I had to run off the soccer field and head to the arena for 4 hours of hockey viewing... no stretching= unhappy muscles in places I never knew I had muscles in...
I was going to be throw a fit about how the sunshine showed all the dog hair, dust bunnies, and finger prints, but then I looked outside and started daydreaming about a springtime yard...
I was going to snap at my hubby, but then I remembered...to SHUT UP.
I was going to fret about maybe missing our weekend away as hubby has redone his ruptured disc... and then I remembered that the poor man already has enough pain in his butt...
I was going to go have a much needed lie down while my kids watched a little show...but then I thought I would read some of your posts... and here I am ....
SO, on that note- love to you all- I am going to go make a cup of tea!

loved it.
It's funny how life just gets in the way of "blogging" and how unimportant blogging can become in the midst of the rest of it.
Man, I hope you finally had time to stretch! That sounds terribly painful.
Sounds like you need a cup of tea my friend. I have days when everything bothers me too. Then I have days like Sunday. I hit a stop sign on my way to church, tore the side of the car up, but it honestly didn't bother me a bit! I wish I could tap into that mellow vibe more often! ~K
I sure know the "was going to" syndrome
happens all too often to me, too.
the important thing is you blogged... and I love reading even your intentions :)
Oh I do hope that your husband makes a recovery so that you don't have to miss your weekend. We pray for a miraculous recovery because I know how much you are looking forward to this time.
Hope you find your memory card....good thing our brains are not held together by those. ;)
Cute post!
Jane - thanks so much for your kind words and support - I just got a not so nice comment - just the kind I expect on my blog. I was wondering if you could tell me what you think about it. I love it when people hurl scripture at you like a weapon.
Now this sounds like ME! I have more posts that I was "going" to do. But then something comes up or whatever.
Anyway, cute post, Jane! I've been missing you, friend.
Enjoy your tea! And do show the funky hair-do. I hope your hubby is better soon.
Loved this bit of writing. This is life. :-) Have a wonderful weekend and Valentine's Day!
