Sometimes I Think Men Are Just Too Scared to Talk To Us.

Jane walks in kitchen, stands in front of hubby " Do you notice anything more dorky about me today?"

Hubby: freezes with coffee in hand, looks at me, and replies "Is this a trick question?"

Ha! He asks me that frequently and usually just has a diplomatic reply. This morning I was referring to my brand new $20 jeans, which aren't such a great deal now that they have become flood pants after one wash. I am stubborn so I am still wearing them- the waist is a little big, so I am wearing them low with a big sweater over to cover the fact that the crotch of the pants are mid thigh- ha, I am laughing out loud at myself now...I am a dork.

I obviously should have gone for these ones, as they are the same price. Actually, they would be a little more expensive considering the exchange rate, but I bet the leg wouldn't have shrunk way up. How am I supposed to look good doing my high kicks with my too- short pants on, I ask??!?!

oh well, it has given me an excuse to play you one of my favourite songs...

By putting on your long boots1 :)

Ah, the frustration of fashion. I hear you, Jane. I would likely suck it up and find a way to wear them. Of course, I am not bold enough to actually admit in online!

Hey, you are in luck because capri's are in. So come, Spring/Summer, it will look like you meant to do it all along. :)

Mark flat out tells me if I look weird! LOL!

Thanks for the comment and the encouragement, I never thought an anonymous post would bother me so badly. I've ventured to your blog a few times from Tonya's and always enjoyed it! Really, could anything with a Chuck Norris advert in it be anything but wonderful?

Keith saw Chuck and asked if I was looking for some jeans to work out in. :)
I bought a pair of jeans like that earlier this year. They fit just right...just right until they got dirty and I had to wash them.
I figure I'll hold on till them till this summer and maybe I can turn them in to capris. And better yet maybe I will have lost enough weight that the will be too big. Then I will have an excuse to pass them on to a shorter person.
That's a plan!

Chuck Norris cracks me up. I think Gayle's onto something with the capri idea. There are a couple of mine that I'll be making into capris because of that same problem.

I often let out the hems and wear them ragged at the bottom. I've done this most of my life if you can believe it.
