W.O.A. after i got over being distracted by how he played with his hair...like i do....well then listening to what he had to say was incredible. yep, kick in the booty and in the heart. here a man who denies God and still respects (and shames us)for standing up for our beliefs and sharing them was very moving. i can't help but hope that if he's thought about it enough to you tube it, maybe he'll let it sink in a little more and a little more.
"share the good news"...such an easy request from Jesus and yet we make it into such a scary, neglected "task". thanks jane. needed the swat too today!
It's so obvious that he is holding back his emotions, as well. He may be putting that wall up there in the end (and that disappoints me), but honestly, I can't help but believe that he was impacted by the LORD or he would have just blown it off as a nice gesture.
Kick in the pants indeed. Especially since I have SEVERAL friends on FB that I grew up with who share this guy's feelings.
I have found the Way since leaving there. Now I just need to share it, ridicule or not...
Sorry for that ramble. I've just had some conviction lately regarding that and it's a hard thing to do.
I read this over at Underdog Victorious -- the part where he talks about "how much do you have to hate some one..." That was an ouch.
But what got me this time, in the video, this was almost a lesson in what to do. a. Be sane. b. Look the person in the eye. c. never underestimate the small things. The man gave Penn a Bible. That was small in the eyes of some people. d. be respectful.
I don't think there is a comment here that I couldn't identify with. This video hit me harder than anything in a long time. What is "our" problem as a whole? Don't know...but we could all use some boldness.
Great video...very eye opening to the power of kindness and true compassion for others. God's Word never goes out void it always accomplishes something. So even though he is not aware yet, those words spoken to him were most definitly seeds planted for future harvest by Christ.
I saw this a few days ago. I really believe this man was convicted by the Holy Spirit. I think Christians ought to pray for him that he will see the truth. How much do you have to hate somebody. If that doesn't convict us, then what will? Shame on us for not sharing our faith.

Wow. That was eye opening. Shame on me for keeping to myself so much.
WOW! I am speechless. Clearly this had a HUGE impact on this man. I think some seeds were planted.. don't you?
absolutely shocking to hear from this man. I am impressed, and shamed.
and inspired.
thanks for sharing.
This really chokes me up.
I mean REALLY chokes me up.

Wow.
Religion has done a lot of bad things. God hasn't. ;o)
I, too, believe that a seed was planted.
