Here's the result:

"Hello, my name is Jane, I am badly co ordinated and am about 3 feet high."
(btw, there is a shadow behind my hat- it isn't as huge as it looks.)I knew I wasn't high fashion when I left the house, but realized I had gone a little far when visiting my ailing sister. She very nicely, but slightly cheekily asked me if I had one of my kids sports day T shirts on under everything else. Later in the day, my daughter took a pic of me and I laughed and grimaced when I saw it. "I don't think I will be wearing this outfit again!" I exclaimed. She helpfully added, " I wouldn't either." Ha!

Sorry, but I wouldn't either. You totally made me laugh!
ROFLOL!! I have this issue with comfort/clean overriding fashion, too!
Whatev. You look adorable!
Gayle! Adorable? Maybe on a 5 year old.
Well...ok....but adorable, nevertheless. LOL!
for the first time that i can remember...i'm speechless after reading one of your posts.
i know one thing though...if we ever meet in real life, i'd love for you to wear this! especially the hat!
you're a hoot!
Now I am by no means a fashionesta...but unless you were going for the grunge look....ya might not want to wear the assortment all together.:)
I am really a comfort girl...and that is why I rarely update my wardrobe with things that wouldn't be worn everyday. Hmmm, maybe I should go and get that mirror out of storage. :) We have two mirrors in the camper that are both neck high....so I usually let the look on Keith's and Julia's face let me know if all is well.
I do hope I can trust them. ;)
Thanks for the laugh.
It's really not fair. A teenager could pull that look off easy. Whe can't we?
Love your boots. Mine are black with red cherries.
You certainly fit in around here in that outfit. I see it all over the place!
Could that look pass as "Vintage" ???? perhps not! you funnee thing!
oh, that is just classic.
bahahahahaha.
I mean, *ahem* what's wrong with that?
I think you should continue with such attire...you may end up on What Not to Wear (do you get that show in Canada...or some equivalent considering here in the States, we often steal English shows and just change the name...). ;)
P.S. I love reading your blog because you use words like cheekily. :)
I think you look quite "special" he he he. Actually, I love the boots, the skirt, the hat... just not all together. I think you are awesome for posting this fashion mishap. I like fashion... but I too have had my days were my husband says "what on EARTH are you WEARING?" ~K
I really liked the boots, tights and skirt...maybe its just the comfy and layered shirts and hat that make you look frumpy. Oh well, some women say I just want to be comfortable...but how can you be when you feel people are looking at you going 'how hard is it to throw on a nice shirt instead of 3 frumpy ones?' I don't feel comfortable with stares!
