I thought this video was pretty cool about illustrating what I have been thinking about lately. Perspective is everything. What am I choosing to dwell on- wrong doings of others, my own insecurities, evil in my world, my lack???? OR am I going to do this:
Philippians 4:8
Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
This is my commitment for 2009.

oh i become such a sap at these kinds of videos. loved it. and very inspiring to look around and then admit how much of a pity party i'm having and get on with life. that scripture is so beautiful, thank you!
