6 Word Memoir

Sharon from Sit With Me A While and Paul from Old Folk's Blog both tagged me for this one:

The Rules:
1. Write your own Six-Word Memoir.
2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you want.
3. Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to the original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.
4. Tag at least five more blogs with links.
5. Leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.

Here is what I came up with for my 6 word memoir:

"She looked up and held tight."

It relates to how I would like my life perspective to be. I know that if I keep my eyes on my Lord and Saviour, everything will be ok. It is when I become like Peter, and start looking at the waves and dark waters that I falter. It is when I get cocky because things are going so well and I forget to rely on the Lord, that I start to have a bad attitude. I pray for a consistent desire to seek the Lord in all circumstances.

I would love to hear some of your memoirs, so please play along. Yes, that means YOU! Let me know if you do.

Good words girl.
Wouldn't it be great sometimes to be able to feel a physical hand?
On day--the hands and the arms too!

I did this a few months ago - you can read my entries here!

But today I'd probably write an altogether different one -
More like:
She's never going to make it!

Thanks for the encouragement.

Excellent 6 words, Jane! I won't be a copycat, but it's hard to beat what you wrote.
