If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Jeepers, this is actually a tough one for me. There are so many places that I would like to visit. I am going to say that it is a toss up between Scotland/Ireland and Prince Edward Island/Nova Scotia. I have Scottish and Irish blood in me and would love to walk through the country side there. The scenery just moves me. I fell in love with Anne as a little girl and would love to walk the roads that L.M. Montgomery describes. I would like to visit Nova Scotia on the same trip as my dad was born there and I have a lot of family back there.
What's your favorite book/movie and why?
My favorite novel all time novel is Anne of Green Gables. I was a bit of an eccentric red head myself as a child and could totally relate. I did not break a slate on my crush's head, but I did dump a bowl of porridge on one of my brother's.
Recently, I enjoyed reading Redeeming Love by Frances Rivers- I love the analogy of how we can come to Christ- totally empty, without pretense, dirty, heart sick, and in turn, He blankets us with His love and grace.
A series that I love is the Mitford series by Jan Karon. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it
What's your husbands best attribute. It can be physical or a character. You choose!
Well...my good twin has won over my evil twin, and I will keep this clean. My favorite physical feature of his is his beautiful green eyes.

LOVE THEM.
Character wise, I love that he is dependable and trustworthy, and honest.
If you had a day free to do ANYTHING you wanted and money was not a problem, what would you do?
Truth? I don't need a lot of money for this. I would like breakfast out with my hubby, or if not with him, some good friends. I would then like to go the library and find new books there by all my fave authors. I would check them all out and go home to have tea in a hot bath, while reading. From there, I would climb into bed, actually, no, I don't like to get into my bed once it is made, so I would use a comfy throw and read, and read, and read. Time would have to stop as I get stressed when it seems to go too quickly. I need TIME to relax properly. This day only works if beforehand I managed to get my house spotless, which would enable me to totally "chill".
Now, if I had a fairy god mother, I would like to have the voice of a a African American gospel singer so that for just one night, I could stand up in a stadium and belt out Amazing Grace, Go Tell it On the Mountain, and Oh Happy Day. But that is not really what you asked me, is it Cindy? Something else I wish I could do is to go back in time and spend my day following my Gramma around here garden, ending it with a cup of tea with her while discussing plants, life and the Lord. One day... in heaven.
Getting back to the above question, if money was no object and I didn't want to do my reading day, I would like to steal my hubby away for a get away- we would fly off somewhere private and just spend a quiet day together in some beautiful naturey place, fishing in a creek, picnicking beside the stream and napping in the shade.
That was fun- thanks for letting me do this!

Ok so after breakfast on Wed we are going to the library?
And yes, the Skipper has beautiful eyes. Not at all creepy and mismatched like the ex! (just freaks me out, I'm really glad it's not something that was passed onto A or K!!)
Jane, I like your day with books and quiet. I also get stressed out about time. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope you have sunshine over there.

those are some great answers! I also loved Redeeming Love. And everything else by Francine Rivers!
I am glad you enjoyed Redeeming Love--even though I remember that it came in big print and you thought that was going to be a problem.
And thank you for keeping this post clean--you wouldn't want to mess with your blog rating. ;)
And soon your box should be there--it will contain almost everything to make your special day come true. The only thing it does not have it a babysitter and a maid. The maid to make sure your house is clean and the babysitter to get rid of the kids so that you can sip tea and read to your hearts content.
But I think I like your second day better. How cool would it be one day when your man comes in from work to tell him not to settle in because you have a surprise for him. And then I guess ya'll would have to get on the fairy to get to an airport?
What we could do if we had some extra money. Do you think God would let us sell some of those cattle on a thousand hills so that we could finance a trip for our spouses???
We can always ask. ;)
Paw Paw is sleeping and it is cool--can you tell I am in a talkative mood?
Hope you are having a great day.
Redeeming Love was wonderful, wasn't it! Now the Mitford series, I'm not to sure about. I just bought the first in the series, and can't get past the 2nd chapter. Please tell me it's not this boring ALL the way through If you tell me it get's better, I'll finish the book! ~Karlie
I want to go to Ireland too. I am from Irish descent and I would love to go track my ancestry while living there for 6 months...
