Yaaaay! My parcels arrived. Somehow I had the good fortune of winning 2 contest in the same week! That's a first. It is usually my really life buddy Kathleen who has horseshoes up her...nose. She has even won a brand new vehicle! Anyway, I was blessed with these two lovely packages!
From my rockin' Texan mama of 4 Trisha, I received 2 books by one of her favourite authors, Susan May Warren ,who I have never read before. I am such a book worm that I am always thrilled to have new authors recommended- even better when samples of the books are sent right to me! She also gave me a ten dollar Amazon gift certificate- which will go towards some more books. Maybe a Karen Kingsbury one? I have only read a couple of hers- any of you know some good titles that she has written?

From my sizzling, cajun cookin' friend Sharon, I receive a tailor made package as part of a pay-it-forward contest. She blessed me with lots of different teas, some ciders, and another book. The ciders are nummy and I am such a tea granny. Nothing better than tea and books for me!

Thank you ladies- as most of you moms know, getting something just for us is so wonderful and refreshing! Now, I need to pay it forward since I won Sharon's contest. I plan to set up a contest- but it will have to wait a couple of weeks as a busy time is ahead and I will not have a chance to blog. Stay tuned for the details. I want to have some fun with you all. I have a couple of contest ideas in mind, but am wondering what you would like from a West Coast Canadian Girl. Seafood is not an option- Sharon!

YEAH! Congrats! :) I would use the Amazon gc for a Beth Moore or Angela Hunt or Francine Rivers book!!! :)
