After a week of laundry, cleaning, cooking, and packing, we are off to The Happiest Place on Earth. Hopefully, this will be the theme in our van early tomorrow morning as well when we head off to the ferry- it can be stressful making that departure deadline- that big boat waits for no one- unless you are in an ambulance, and I really don't want that! Sometimes the sheer anxiety of getting out the door and remembering everything ('cause there is NO time to turn around!) causes the Skipper and I to be spatting before we get to the end of our driveway. Ok, once we turned around when we got a block away and realized that we left Little M tucked up in his car seat in our entry way. (we'll never live that one down amongst my family!)
Anyhoo, we are thrilled to have this opportunity to make some fabulous memories. I am more of a get back to nature kind of gal on my holidays, but have also really enjoyed the 2 times I was at Disneyland in my younger years. I can't WAIT to see the looks on our kids faces! I will be armed with my camera and yes, you will get to see them too! See you in a little while.
Oh, in case you are the Internet weirdo that my husband suspects might read this blog- our house will NOT be empty and we have a big dog as well!

I know you guys will have a fabulous time! As for your house not being empty, I don't know who would be easier to get past. Let's see, bring a steak for pup or bring a steak for big bro? Hmmmm, who would let me in?!

I pray that we got all the rain out of the way for you guys so that you could have a nice trip.
