If my camera wasn't broken, I would show you a picture of the lovely cubbies that my hubby built for me in our boot room. Every one has there own- everyone's is overflowing. It is below freezing tonight and as the thermometer has been dipping I have been thinking of those less fortunate who do not have coats, scarves, hats, to coordinate with their outfit or decor, like a lot of us do. Some just don't have any period. Have you ever tried to sleep without sufficient blankets? It is difficult to do when you are cold, isn't it? The other day I stood in front of our cubbies and ruthlessly sorted out the excess to give away. I will be dragging items out of the crawl space as well. I was down there the other day and found at least two big garbage bags of winter items that I have saved to hand down to the next child, etc. Fact of the matter is, we have enough already. More than enough. Even if I had to buy something for Little M to replace what I give away- we will probably be able to afford it when the time comes. There are lots of organizations that collect clothing. I try to make a point of not giving this kind of stuff to the Salvation Army Thrift Store in my area because I want it to go to someone really needy, instead of someone bargain shopping who can actually afford to buy their necessities. (that being said- I bought a gorgeous white down puffy jacket for my daughter for $8.00 there- she really had outgrown her coat from last year). So, I am challenging you to do the same. Sort through your coats, boots, hats, gloves, sweaters, socks, etc, and help someone stay warm this winter.

I need to get our boots out and see if Holly's still fit. I don't think the rest of us have had a change in shoe size. I'm not too motivated though. We had a dusting of snow last week but tomorrow is supposed to be 73 degrees F (about 23 Celsius).
