A 4 Year Old's Review of The Nativity Story

After reading Cindy's post the other day, I remembered that we had bought The Nativity Story this summer and I had put it away to watch at this time of year. We brought it out Sunday night after pizza and tree decorating. I was glad we watched it as I think it made the story more real for all of us. We tried to hide J's eyes a few times when Herod's soldiers were carrying out his cruel orders, but he tried desparately to peek. While watching Mary give birth, we all had a good chuckle over his outburst of "OOOOHHHH, I'm glad I'M not a girrrllll, that looks like it HURTS!" -to which Daddy replied, "So am I!", and Mommy muttered under her breath, "No kidding you're glad!"

Funny! We haven't seen it yet, but it's on the list of things to do this Christmas. :-)

I've enjoyed looking at your blog. I actually posted an "intro" update to mine. Somehow it posted before the last one (I think I started the intro one first??). I'm going to try and figure out how to move it. :-)

I still really want to see this. I'd better go put it on Netflix before I forget AGAIN!

Thanks for the reminder...
