Yesterday my mom and I had a fabulous day in the Big City. We did a Costco run, met one of my brothers for lunch, and then shopped the rest of the day at a large mall. My mom is fun to be with and we both had a really enjoyable time. I think my favorite purchase was a set of heavy flannel sheets from Costco for our bed. I have this love affair with light sea blue right now so was happy to find the sheets in that color. J and I have just finished watching another bit of the A&E version of Pride and Prejudice. Lydia and Wickham have just been discovered in London, and Lizzy thinks that she has lost Mr. Darcy forever! I would have liked to watch it to the end, but I have boot camp in the early morning. (we are getting measured tomorrow. Oh joy. The positive point in that is that I will not have to run for a minute or two while they do that.)
Anyways, I am just going to climb into bed, and nestle down in our new soft, cozy, inviting sheets. 5 a.m. will come all too soon!
