I have missed my blogging friends as I have not had much time to spare over the last few days- even to read your blogs. Thanks so much for the encouragement and prayers that you gave regarding the last post. We have a family of 7 staying with us over the next two weeks and having them has been a real joy and has lifted my husband's spirits. We are busy showing off our paradise and trying to convince them to move to BC. They are from Ontario, which is way to the east. The husband would come in a minute, but his wife and my friend, is having a harder time with the idea... We'll see... They are praying about it.

Here are a couple of pics that I took yesterday while sitting on the beach with them. This is our fort- building beach. Today was the crab hunting beach, tomorrow we will visit and perhaps swim with dolphins in an inlet not too far away.

I have a thing for beach pebbles. I just love this pic. I might enlarge it for my wall. Every single one is different and reminds me of how God loves each us individually.

I took this pic just because I could. How often do I sit on the beach with time to take snaps of my toes! Having guests is causing me to chill out and sit down more. They have 5 kids, so the children are keeping each other entertained. It is quite funny to see our daughter, who is a tweeny, and their 3 boy tweens together! They actually have been very welll behaved, but I told our friends that I don't think they can come visit for several years as we will then have a teen romance on our hands!

I deleted my comment above b/c I spelled something wrong and that REALLY bugs me! :)

So many beaches right by you?? Maybe I need to move up there! The pebble photo is beautiful and what a great idea to blow it up as art! I love it! You could find some great scripture to paint on it, too! I know kodakgallery.com does enlargement and canvases from photos.

I responded to your tic question on my blog.

Glad you guys are having some fun times this week.

Glad to hear from you.
It is good to hear that ya'll are having fun.
Good thought about the rocks--which I love by the way.
Our rocks are usually more of a solid color.
Have fun relaxing we will be here when you come back. :)

I love the pebble pictures.
And it's great that you're having such a good time-- I hope you are just able to soak in all the beach-ness. ;-)

Wow...that sentiment about the pebbles really struck me this morning. That was a beautiful way to look at that. It is so crazy how different (actually polar opposite) our beaches look from the north to the south of this continent, but how they are both breathtaking...

Jane, I know how company can consume your time!! Just having two extra people in my house for this past month has been consuming. Fun, but exhausting sometimes! Summer is like that, too, just running away with your time. It's all good, though!

I've missed seeing you around.

I hope you are having a great time with your friends, and I love the beach shots.

I am so coming over to sit with you on that beach!

It's not that long a drive from TX to Canada, right? :o)

ahhhhhhhh your feet look oh so relaxed!
I must admit I have never been to a beach with peoples THAT size on it! In Southern Africa the sea sand is finer than sugar! It's so soft!
So glad you had fun!

Did you sign up for a free CD?
In the right hand side it says sign up if you are a blogger and you have 50 or more visitors a month. I think we should all make it in on that one.
Look at the top right box I believe.
