Ok, it is starting to bug me- i need a new look. Yes, I could use one in the wardrobe, hair department, but right now I am thinking about my blog. I need something to be more representative of me. Trouble is, I want to do it inexpensively... Can you give me some suggestions. What does it normally cost?

Maybe you could just try playing around with blogger templates and adding some photos or something... that is all free. If I'm anything, I'm cheap. But I LOVE everyone's blog who pays for their look, too. :) Can't wait to see what you come up with!
You know, I think that it is pretty expensive...as in at least $100....but, I am sure that there are amateurs out there who would do it for way less? I would love to know what you find out though, because I wanted to do the same thing. :)
On my blog, at the bottom of the right hand column is "by Maggie." Click on it and see what she does. She asks only for a gift (offering) to her church...your call on how much. I love her sttitude and her heart for the Lord is beautiful! Check her out!
I just stopped in to tell you I read your comment on Sharon's post and wanted to tell you I am praying...I understand the stress that medical stuff can bring (being there myself).
Blessings on you, Sister!

GOOFY GIRL -
She did my blog - and it was only $20
In the big scheme of things - that is very inexpensive.
Her link is down at the bottom on my blog!
I'm in the beginning phases of a makeover with everydaydesign @ everyday mommy. Her prices are listed at about $50 for a no frills makeover. Another good place to try is bluebirdblogs.blogspot.com or splatdesigns.blogspot.com.
Goofy Girl!! Seconded.
She did mine and ThoughtfulMom's.
Go to my blog and click her link and you can see other blogs that she's done.
She really tried to fit my personality and I loved it. I love my new blog. And you can't beat a name like Goofy Girl. :-)
No tips here, but I'll be watching the comments as I too have wanted a "cool" blog makeover. BTW I'll be praying for you. You do get my vote for woman with the most odd ailments ~Karlie
