
I was not blown away by the results of my first week, but did not really expect to be. I ate less than I normally would, which was still plenty, drank more water, and exercised. Nothing too dramatic. I am having my period, so am feeling more bloated than usual. I just measured, and lost about 1/2 inch of waist, as well as chest. I need it off my butt, thighs and waist. Not my chest. I think my face is a bit thinner, but that is how it works for me- from the top down. Hope you are all doing well with your challenge. I am on a four day road trip with my kids so that will be a challenge, as I won't be preparing a lot of meals. I think that I might buy some power bars to keep myself going on the road- some with low carbs. I plan to take lots of water!!! I am not in my levi's yet, but am going to keep trying!

One of the best things for me when I traveled to AZ was to just eat in moderation - not worry about counting points.. I made sure to listen when I was full and not eat a bunch of snacks. It really works.

I think that comfydenim's advice is good. Don't stress too much about it. I'm glad you had a loss. Isn't that the way it goes though? We lose it last where we want it gone the most?

I am really heavy Kathleen, but I know what my fit weight is and I am about 20 pounds over that. I still remember what it is like to have things fit nicely in a change room and to not be tugging at my shorts as they ride up my legs. i am tired of tight waste bands and being self conscious in my ill fitting clothing. I guess it is all relative.
OK, this is not working out for me. That was supposed to say, I am NOT really heavy. Good grief.
Have fun on the road.I loose top first and then down. And the whole weight things means nothing unless you can tell your clothes are fitting better.

Hey, Good for you! I don't care if I loose the weight off my elbows... just as long as I'm loosing it (I say this as I'm eating my 4th granola bar and a handful of stale Cheetos).
hooray for the 1/2 inch of waist!! i'd say congrats for the chest but i know what you mean.. it's the first place and ok well the only place i seem to lose weight.. what is up with that...
