Ikea Start the car commercial

Coffee Mom, Memeg, and a couple of other friends are off to the homeschool conference tomorrow. It will be great to go have a look at curriculum (books excite me) and to be inspired by some speakers. To be honest, I am looking most forward to dinner out and free time. This commercial cracks me up and here I am relating it to us moms piling in my van and getting away to the big city. Start the car! Wahoo! Start the car!

Ok so we're taking the long way to the convention to pick up Julie? I hope we make it on time! I don't want to miss anything, but I want to hang out with Julie! Maybe we should plan a trip to her hs convention!!!

I had a little laugh at the commercial-I have never seen it before. How funny! Now I would be yelling, Start the car! anytime I was able to get away with out the kids.
What fun!
If you are going to Texas I don't see why you can't hope over to Louisiana.
I don't home school but I am always up for a road trip.

Maybe I should ask some of the other girls to watch over you while you are gone.
Girls...she is not allowed to have sugar. Watch her...she will be tempted. Nothing but a little honey in her tea. :)
Now behave and I talk to ya when you get back.
Have FUN!
That's an order!

hey if you are going as far as TX and Louisiana, you need to come over to SC and pick me up to.... I love to drive, so you moms can sit back and relax. Wouldn't it be great if all this was possible... Thelma and Louise with just the freedom.

Oh wait... I can't go, I have a little man coming to our home in about 18 hours!!!! you'll have to catch me next time!

That's a funny commercial.
I got the biggest kick out of watching the lady try to hurry in those heels.
Are you wearing heals or comfy shoes??

I hope you have a blast!! If that's possible without us. :-)
