I'm Breaking all the Fashion Rules, but At Least I am Comfortable While I am Doing It!
Well, that day has come- I remember times at the mall with Crunchy Creeker when we were teenagers. I remember lolling there, eating our ice creams, people watching, and smugly remarking on the "moms" we saw. " If I ever dress like that, just do away with me!", etc. Now fast forward 15 years...this is what I just caught myself thinking: OK, so I can't find any clean pajamas- I'll just throw on this shirt and sweat pants AND THEN I don't even have to get changed when I get up tomorrow!!!! I had a chuckle as I pulled on those comfy clothes and sluffed off to have some tea. Now I just need some big fuzzy slippers! I wore through my last pair in one winter. I have had my dress shoes for years, but wear through my slippers in months! I am hoping that flannel pj's will become all the craze soon. That would save time as well!

Isn't it funny how we all seem to become our worst fears? Mini van driving, diaper bag carrying, tired looking moms. Oh well, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
i like the way you think...
How funny.
We call it avoiding the MawMaw.
None of us want to look like we are 10 years older than we are. My sister and I made a pledge that if either one of us started to turn into a MawMaw we would tell each other it was time for a make over.
I am hoping that my daughter keeps me young like we did with our Mom.
I might have to get old but I don't have to look it.
And just so you know-my favorite thing to sleep in is a doctors surgery shirt. I got one after my husband was in the hospital. It has the two front pockets--a good disguise for no bra-and I can throw on a pair of pants real quick to take my daughter to the bus. Now I had to draw the line at my feet-no slippers-don't want to scar her for life by embarrassing her. :)
