Ever had a day where you don't feel valued by those around you? I have discovered that when I am frustrated that I am not receiving enough validation, (Husband: "You are so beautiful when you fold laundry and bang pots around!" or kids: " This left over goulash is awesome!", it is usually because I am not valuing my job. I am trying to catch myself before I get annoyed with my hubby and kids to check where my heart is at.

Hey! I'm so glad you came by my blog. I'm a former homeschool mom myself (I'm not sure that's on my blog anywhere). The kiddos are in school now. I like your place. I'll have to stop in again soon.

Hi, thanks for coming by to visit my blog! It's always a pleasure to visit a Canadian! I'd love to visit your beautiful country. I remember being smiling when reading Kathleen's blog to discover that there is a Sunshine Coast in Canada too!
I love your cartoon! Do you draw them? And also your comments about trying to sheds a few pounds. I've been similar actions to yours because I think when we hit our 30s our metabolisms slow down.
I hope you & your family had a great Easter,
Paula
Yes - the servanthood thing. when we start to feel underappreciated - it can often be that we aren't doing the job of the servant that we are called to as wives and mothers. Struggling with that myself right now.
Great thoughts.
oh there are so many days when i feel like the toilet paper!
but you are so right. it is usually me.
