If it Gets Any Wetter, We Will Need to Grow Gills!

I like the rain, which is good as I live in a rainforest region on the West Coast of Canada. It is beautiful, green, and just a fabulous place to live...if you don't mind lots of precipitation! We have had such a wet span from last fall till now. It has rained for the last 5 days, which is good as we had our yard hydro-seeded on Monday. (saves us setting up and moving around umpteen sprinklers!) Anyhoo, I am finding that we are dragging a bit in school and everyone is a bit irritable the past few days. Yesterday we tried to do school for a bit and then went to visit a local fish hatchery. Today we have the woodstove on and are building forts and reading. Little M is being spoiled by his big sister as she is rocking him and letting him have his soother. (Usually mean mommy only gives it to him at bedtime.) Next we are off to my SIL's for a video and tea. (Pollyanna is educational, isn't it?)

Why is it that in the fall and winter I love days like this, but in the spring I do not? Hope you had a good time at Meg's
