This has been my favorite book since I was about 9 years old, mainly because Anne had red hair, freckles,and a curious nature, just like I do. The reason I am blogging about it is that I haven't seen much mentioned about Anne Of Green Gables on anyone's blogs. She is a very popular character in Canada, but I am wondering if you are familiar with the series in other countries. The series was written by Lucy Maud Montgomery and set in Prince Edward Island ( east coast of Canada). If you haven't read it I recommend it for you and your family (especially mischievious little girls!).

i loved anne of green gables too. my daughters are 7 and 5. the seven year old is caught up in the american girl series right now, but i definitely plan on reading anne with her.
and i want that view in my back yard! i'm landlocked here in the midwest, but i love the ocean.
