Keeping it Real

It is important to me that anyone who may read this blog gets the real me. Not many people in my area homeschool and so I get a lot of comments ranging from "You are CRAZY!" to "Wow, you are amazing!" So, just keeping it real- there are times that I am pulling out my hair and threatening to send my kids packing it down two blocks to the public school. Is it better for my kids to have a unrelated teacher yelling at them, or is it better that I am? I think that I feel more remorse, so I guess it is still better that they are at home! Seriously, the days I get frustrated are the days where I have not given that time over to God. Usually, I am trying to be super mom during those moments. I am definitely a work in progress!

Today someone told me I was a "wind beneath your wings" kind of person. Really. I'm not kidding. Not me - I'm just your average mom, trying to do what's right for her kids.
Welcome to the blog world - I'll happily give you a few lessons in linking and adding pics and graphics.

Welcome to blogging! I am a cyber friend of Kathleen's and I thought I'd stop by and say hello.

Well now. Keeping it real. I like you already. We, too, live two blocks from the school. And just last week - A school bus drove by our house and I was tempted to run out there and flag it down.

I think people should know that we're just moms. Just humans. It's also a thrill to hear that you have 4 kids, too. That alone makes people tell me I'm crazy. (I always say - you haven't met my cousins - they all have 6 kids and one of them has 7.)

Keeping it real, right alongside ya!
