What can I say?

It's been busy.
Apparently too busy to get a haircut...

Can someone yell at me please?!?

I also am stalling at spending money on new soccer cleats even though my big toes are poking out of them, and I refuse to go do something about my "natural looking" feet (aka scary looking) even though I have a gift certificate for a pedicure. You know those people who would clean their house for a cleaner? Well, I want my feet to look better BEFORE I go for a pedicure. Anyhoo, apparently I need an overhaul- this pic doesn't even show my gray hairs- AND DON"T TRY TO ZOOM IN EITHER! It was taken late at night...after cleaning up dog barf and lecturing children who would not go to sleep, etc, etc, etc.

honey, that's what beauticians and pedicurists (or whatever they are called) are for - to transform the "lump-o-clay" into a beautiful "pot". Umm... I hope that analogy doesn't come across wrong!

Uh, yeah - just go do it. If you're not going to get new cleats, at last get a pedi so your toes look cute poking out of them!

*LOL*
You're lovely.
And what Miriam said makes perfect sense, too.
So - go for it!
It's funny the things that we put aside because we're busy with kids.

GO GET THAT PEDICURE!
It will make you feel special and you will love the new look peeking out of your shoes.
And then maybe while you are out go and get your hair cut....you will feel like a new woman. Besides...if you don't get that hair cut soon it will start to block your ability to see what is going on around you. Hmmm....is that the whole idea? ;)
Thanks for your comments--it really helped. I guess I will be able to identify with you a little more after this time alone.
Love ya girl!

hey, how about making that your new profile picture! HEE HEE!

and the whole haircutting issue...i'm terrible. so bad that i don't want to fork out all the moola i used to, that when i took my boys to the barber a few weeks ago...i plopped up in her chair for a trim.. how's that for being a cheapskate!?

i'm with ya on the feet deal though. i can't stand feet so having someone else see the dirt in my toenails just grosses me out!

since I'm behind in reading, I'm going to save the lecture to see if you made any progress by the time I'm all caught up. but we warned. i am prepared to be mercilessly motivating if not.
