Fetus Friday: Hospital Bag Items

Amy Beth is asking for suggestions about items to pack in Roomie's hospital delivery bag for the big day. I am a bit pressed for time this morning, so I have to be quick here. If I could suggest one item to be packed in your hospital bag for the big day, it would be this. Seriously- this would come before clothing, music, etc, etc, etc for me. Did you click over there and see this part: "post-traumatic edema and swelling of the soft tissues"? I don't believe in scaring first time moms, but there will be swelling and pain after. That is all I will say about that. I have experienced childbirth without using Traumeel, as well as with. The difference is DRAMATIC. It is a natural homeopathic remedy that WILL NOT interfere with any meds or harm your baby. I use it at least once a week (in ointment form usually- you would take it by tablet) on myself or someone in my family as it is greatly reduces swelling from head bonks, sports injuries, strained muscles, etc. I even convinced a doc on my soccer team to try it on her injured leg last month and she said that she saw a remarkable difference in the speed of healing. As you can tell, it is one of my favourite things! It is my personal belief that every household should have a tube or a bottle of this wonder remedy! FYI: if one has an open sore, don't use the ointment- it stings. In that case, as with post childbirth, you would use a tablet or the drops-though the drops are NASTY tasting!

Happy Packing girls!

Well... I've never heard of it.
I'll have to book mark it. ;-0

loved your comment about the video I posted. It is weird. It's a montage from the movie - but I can't find the song without Barbie. I don't like Barbie...but I like the movie (or I did a bazillion viewings ago) and i REALLY like the song. :-)

tell him thanks for at least listening to it. That was brave of him.

I've never heard of it either! Wish I would have when I had my little dumplings though.

I wonder if they carry it around here...

Traumeel is awesome for bumps and bruises too! We always have a tube of it here.

I haven't read your blog in ages - I pretty much stop everything when in my 3rd trimester and in the middle of a huge move. :-) I always have Arnica packed for birth - and use it all the time at home, both in tablet and topical. I've seen Traumeel before, must have Arnica and more in it.

Glad to be able to catch up today! Love your haircut!
