I am not a fan of artificial colors and flavours. I don't care what studies you may refer me to, I know from personal experience that they make kids climb walls! I am not totally lame and the kids do get sufficient treats, BUT, not enough I guess, because after the Skipper and I went on a grocery shopping date, our daughter stopped dead in her tracks while I was unloading the groceries. I looked over to find her staring at the can of Kool Aid that hubby had bought, with her eyebrows raised and mouth agape. (have I mentioned she is gifted at drama)?) She went on to exclaim "I NEVER thought I would see the day!!!!" Good grief.

ha! My kids would do the same thing. I think I have bought Kool-Aid twice in their life time. h
Whenever my husband comes to the grocery store we always end up with things I would NEVER buy - Spaghettios, PopTarts, and disgusting stuff like that ... which my kids devour like they've been starves while under my care!
Hey we have grocery shopping dates too! It's pretty much the only time we get away kidless!
haha...my kids do the same thing when I come home with boxed cereal. LOL
We do that with pop!
BTW, I commented back to you on my blog. :D
I let my kids get one junk cereal while they are not in school... I tell them its because they need 'brain food' the rest of the year. My dramatic kids eat that garbagy cereal like it's manna from heaven. *rolls eyes*
this was a cute post...but i cannot stop laughing at your comment on gayle's post. i'm laughing so hard my mouth hurts. oh you gave me such a fun reason to smile as i lay here on my hubby's laptop trying to catch up on what i've missed. i hope you can feel that free to leave me a note like that. dang you are one funny girl.
anywho. the arnica. i thought you meant the gel and so i have been putting it on my chin and so far the sweling's gone and no bruises so yay!
off to read your meme. and smile more too!
that kool aid guy cracks me up. Remember those commercials where he busts through the walls? Why does he do that? It's the stuff they put in koolaid, apparently. He's made of the stuff.
Is that what we want our kids doing? Busting through walls, destroying perfectly good property? I don't think so. That guy needs to calm down.
