Homeschooling Stereotypes and a Boring Description of my Day So Far.
Go over to Kathleen's and check out this rib tickling video on home school misconceptions. It is really cute. Before you do, leave me a comment and tell me how your weekend is going. Everyone in my social group is sick, so I am in need of some company! Today I coached my 11 year old's soccer team, planted primroses and daffodils, and did some yard work. It is such a gorgeous day here. Tonight will be a mellow night by myself after the kids go to bed. I should get a chick flick or something. I apologize for the less than fascinating post. I am pretty low energy at the moment.

Oh, I know the social cravings!
I am the opposite today. Wanna be alone! Just pulled out a copy of Sense and Sensibility, and plan to hunker down in my bed with some hot tea and watch it.
How do you make your "boring" posts still seem so inviting? I imagine your home is like that... all warm and welcoming :)
Oh, I know what you mean about sometimes needing people. :-)
Our day was interesting...we had 3 hair cuts this morning. Then we came home. I was going to take mini-me with me on my next errand - but she didn't want to go. So I went to the lumbar yard depot place and picked up a swing, a footstool (plasitc) and 2 bags of paver sand for the sand box.
I picked up lunch on the way home. We ate. The littles went to nap - and then the bigs and I picked up a friend and went to see "The Pirates Who don't do anything". It was great. We grabbed a quick bite and came home to find a harassed daddy and some demanding kids. :-) but we're home now and I'm pooped. And since I've not been home - all my homey type things I need/want to do are awaiting me - and will probably await me until the kids are tucked in bed.
I did put in "Emma" while I was rocking Mini-E for nap time and enjoyed what I watched of it. It'd been a long time...and I realized I haven't seen Pride and Prejudice yet. *gasp* I know.
okay---I'm jealous now!! The only thing I'm digging is SNOW. I have spring fever ....I think I'm going CRAZY. Do me a favor plant a flower for me.
Well at the moment I am at the hospital with Paw Paw. Things got really bad--like he was having some type of reaction to the dialylisis and so the doctor told us to take him to the hospital.
Come to find out he was showing symptoms of congestive heart failure. They shocked his heart twice to get the correct rhythm back. They are running tests and we will see tomorrow if he had a heartache. It was pretty scary.
Thought we were going to loose him.
please keep him in your prayers.
Thank ya girl
Did you find a chick flick to watch?
Hope you have a good weekend.
Love ya girl
Sometimes Iwish I had the house to myself in the evening. I never get to watch chick flicks. Ever.
well you read my post so you know how my weekend is going. he is much improved though. thanks for your comment. see you at the birthday bash next week!
Busy! Yesterday, my husband's brother and family stopped by for lunch on their way from Florida to NY. It was good to see them. Today after we came home from church, I am just tired after such a busy week.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I have been trying to get into this blogging thing but there must be a learning curve. I have visited you through Em at The learning never stops sorry I don't comment much. I hope all of your friends are feeling better. My weekend was okay but today is great. As our friends from Arizona are staying for a few days. I am sure you will be reading about it on her blog and maybe mine :D
Janice
I've been really pooped lately also. To the point that I'm in bed before midnight, which is unusual for me lately!
Ahhhh, your post reassures me that Spring is in the air! I love daffodils. I don't see too many in the desert where we live, but have lots of memories of my mom planting them in the Pacific Northwest as a girl. Several varieties, too...some with orange centers, some that were vareigated colors, and then these super small ones. All beautiful.
Mellow nights are good. Relaxing. I put the kiddos to bed early myself. ;o)
